Governor speaks at the Iceland Chamber of Commerce
On 18 November 2021 Governor Ásgeir Jónsson delivered a presentation on monetary policy challenges at a meeting of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce.
In his presentation, the Governor examined a number of factors in the evolution of inflation and interest rates, both in Iceland and abroad, and discussed the short- and long-term inflation outlook for Iceland. Rannveig Sigurðardóttir, Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy, participated in the panel discussion following the presentation.
