New working paper on longevity, growth and intergenerational equity
A new working paper, Longevity, growth and intergenerational equity – The deterministic case, has been published. The authors are Torben M. Andersen, professor in economics at the university of Arhus and Marías H. Gestsson, economist in the economics department of the bank. The paper is part of Marias‘ doctoral dissertation which he defended at the university of Arhus by the end of August this year. This paper discusses optimal solutions to intergenerational equity when there is trend growth in longevity. Future growth of productivity influences which solution is best.
