Moody's issues a credit opinion for the Republic of Iceland
On October 14, 2008, Moody's Investors Service issued its credit opinion for the Republic of Iceland and confirmed the following ratings: A1 for long-term obligations in foreign currency and P-1 for short-term obligations in foreign currency. The ratings were placed under review for possible downgrade on October 8, 2008.
