A state­ment of the Fin­an­cial Sta­bil­ity Com­mit­tee will be pub­lished at 8:30 to­mor­row, Wed­nes­day 4 June 2025. The Payments report will be pub­lished at 8:35 in Icelandic, an English version will be published at a later date. Payments is being published for the first time, having previously been covered in the autumn issue of Financial Stability. The report describes payment intermediation in Iceland, the Central Bank's priorities with regard to payment intermediation and its future vision.

At 9:30, a press con­fer­ence on the state­ment and the con­tents of the Fin­an­cial Sta­bil­ity Re­port be­gins. At the press con­fer­ence Ás­geir Jóns­son, Gov­ernor and Fin­an­cial Sta­bil­ity Com­mit­tee chair and Tómas Bryn­jólfs­son, Deputy Gov­ernor for Fin­an­cial Sta­bil­ity will in­tro­duce and dis­cuss the state­ment and priorities in payment intermediation.
