New website of the Central Bank of Iceland

Welcome to the new and improved website of the Central Bank of Iceland, which replaces the older websites of the Central Bank and the Financial Supervisory Authority.

The new website offers numerous innovations, including:

A site map of 13 main categories that can be sorted alphabetically to make it easier for users to find content
The bank's data are accessible in one place, connecting the new website to databank.is which the Central Bank is involved in developing
New and improved publication of exchange rate information
Quadruple searches that make it easier for users to find what they are looking for
News marked with content tags, which allows users to view data collection pages of content related to specific topics
Knowledge database and consumer website

The website is under active development and some bugs may therefore still be hidden in the functionality, links or configuration of individual elements such as broken links, XML services, RSS feeds, fluctuations in databases and outdated links in search engines. We are constantly working on improving and optimising the website. The Central Bank encourages users to submit suggestions if they become aware of anything that could be improved.
