The total assets of DMBs amounted to 5,943.2 b.kr. at the end of May having decreased by 16.4 b.kr. during the month. Domestic assets amounted to 5,338.7 b.kr. and increased by 18.9 b.kr. Foreign assets amounted to 604.5 b.kr. and decreased by 35.3 b.kr. Domestic liabilities amounted to 4,113.6 b.kr. and increased by 447 m.kr. in May. Foreign liabilities amounted to 1,019.1 b.kr. and decreased by 28.2 b.kr. Equity of DMBs amounted to 810.6 b.kr. at the end of May, having increased by 11.3 b.kr. during the month.
New credit less prepayments amounted to 60.5 b.kr. in May, thereof indexed loans amounted to 11.9 b.kr., unindexed 23.2 b.kr., foreign currency linked 19.2 b.kr. and leasing contracts 6.2 b.kr.
New household credit less prepayments amounted to 4.6 b.kr. in May, thereof residential mortgage loans amounted to 1.3 b.kr., which was 839 m.kr. higher than in April.
