The total assets of DMBs amounted to 5,759.1 b.kr. at the end of December having decreased by 42.6 b.kr. during the month. Domestic assets amounted to 5,267 b.kr. and decreased by 17.5 b.kr. Foreign assets amounted to 492.1 b.kr. and decreased by 25.1 b.kr. Domestic liabilities amounted to 3,982.5 b.kr. and decreased by 29.1 b.kr. in December. Foreign liabilities amounted to 931.1 b.kr. and decreased by 22.1 b.kr. Equity of DMBs amounted to 845.5 b.kr. at the end of December, having increased by 8.6 b.kr. during the month.

New credit less prepayments amounted to 76 b.kr. in December, thereof indexed loans amounted to 16.1 b.kr., unindexed 24.8 b.kr., foreign currency linked 33.1 b.kr. and leasing contracts 1.9 b.kr.

New household credit less prepayments amounted to 12 b.kr. in December, thereof residential mortgage loans amounted to 4.4 b.kr., which was 5.3 b.kr. lower than in November.
