The total assets of DMBs amounted to 6,092.1 b.kr. at the end of August having increased by 55.1 b.kr. during the month. Domestic assets amounted to 5,446.6 b.kr. and increased by 57.3 b.kr. Foreign assets amounted to 645.5 b.kr. and decreased by 2.1 b.kr. Domestic liabilities amounted to 4,161.8 b.kr. and increased by 10.4 b.kr. in August. Foreign liabilities amounted to 1,093.9 b.kr. and increased by 36.1 b.kr. Equity of DMBs amounted to 836.4 b.kr. at the end of August, having increased by 8.7 b.kr. during the month.
New credit less prepayments amounted to 49.1 b.kr. in August, thereof indexed loans amounted to 8.2 b.kr., unindexed 28.9 b.kr., foreign currency linked 10.6 b.kr. and leasing contracts 1.5 b.kr.
New household credit less prepayments amounted to 7.3 b.kr. in August, thereof residential mortgage loans amounted to 4.3 b.kr., which was 8.7 b.kr. higher than in July.
