Total turnover on the interbank market for foreign exchange amounted to 129.0 million Euros in December, equivalent to 19.1 billion ISK. The CBI´s share of the monthly total turnover in December was 892 million ISK.
The average Euro exchange rate vis-à-vis the Icelandic krona increased by 1.0% between the months December and November.
