Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 343.7 b.kr. at the end of November. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 323.3 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 20.4 b.kr.
Domestic assets of the companies were in total 281.2 b.kr. and foreign assets amounted to 62.5 b.kr.
Domestic liabilities amounted to 154.2 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 135.6 b.kr. Foreign liabilities amounted to 72 m.kr.
Equity of insurance companies amounted to 189.4 b.kr. at the end of November and increased by 2.4 b.kr. between months.
Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 accounting standard in the settlement of insurance companies accounts, there is a break in the time series of unpaid premiums and unearned premiums in January 2023.
