Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 330.7 b.kr. at the end of March. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 312.9 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 17.8 b.kr.
Domestic assets of the companies were in total 272.2 b.kr. and foreign assets amounted to 58.5 b.kr.

Domestic liabilities amounted to 157.5 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 136.1 b.kr. Foreign liabilities amounted to 358 m.kr.

Equity of insurance companies amounted to 172,9 b.kr. at the end of March and decreased by 9.1 b.kr. between months.

Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 accounting standard in the settlement of insurance companies accounts, there is a break in the time series of unpaid premiums and unearned premiums in January 2023.
