Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 341.3 b.kr. at the end of February. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 320.1 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 21.3 b.kr.
Domestic assets of the companies were in total 280.2 b.kr. and foreign assets amounted to 61.2 b.kr.

Domestic liabilities amounted to 159.1 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 137.8 b.kr. Foreign liabilities amounted to 318 m.kr.

Equity of insurance companies amounted to 181.9 b.kr. at the end of February and decreased by 3.1 b.kr. between months.

Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 accounting standard in the settlement of insurance companies accounts, there is a break in the time series of unpaid premiums and unearned premiums in January 2023.
