A statement of the Monetary Policy Committee was published on the Central Bank of Iceland website at 8:30 hrs. today. At 9:30, a press conference on the statement will be held. Governor Ásgeir Jónsson, Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee, and Deputy Governor Rannveig Sigurdardóttir, will present the Committee's statement.
