A mission from the International Monetary Fund led by Ashok Bhatia has today completed a two week visit to Iceland. This visit is part of the Post-Program Monitoring of Iceland´s Stand-By Arrangement, which was concluded in August 2011. Meetings were held with the authorities, private sector and labour market representatives.

The concluding statement of the mission containing the highlights of the past two weeks‘ discussions has now been published.
