International Monetary Fund visit to Iceland 19 - 22 July 2010

A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed by mission chief Mark Flanagan concluded a four-day visit to Iceland yesterday. The purpose of the visit was to continue discussions for the 2010 Article IV Consultation

and the third review under Iceland’s Stand-By Arrangement that were conducted from 14 – 28 June. The aim is to bring the 3rd review forward for the IMF Executive Board consideration in early September.
