Central Bank of Iceland economist Thorvardur Tjörvi Ólafsson gave a lecture on the financial crisis, housing markets, and households at a Nordic conference held in Reykjavík yesterday.
In his talk, Mr. Ólafsson presented the Icelandic financial crisis in a historical and international context, with particular focus on the housing market and the status of households. He also discussed the impact of the financial crisis on households and the housing market. The lecture, which was given in English, was accompanied by the following slide presentation.
