New time series for deposits of deposit institutions have been published ending March 2009, however, figures from October 2008 onwards are provisional and subject to change.
In these new series, savings banks are shown separate from other deposit institutions. A new time series is also included showing the development of broad money.
A new time series for lending by savings banks has also been published. Figures on lending by the new commercial banks (NBI, Kaupthing and Íslandsbanki) are currently not available.
