The Central Bank of Iceland draws on swap facility arrangements

Today the Central Bank of Iceland has drawn on its swap facility arrangements amounting to EUR 400 million. The swap facility arrangements that were drawn upon are with the Central Banks of Denmark and Norway, each amounting to EUR 200 million. On May 16, the Central Banks of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, entered into euro/Icelandic króna bilateral swap facility agreements with the Central Bank of Iceland. Each swap facility arrangement provided access to EUR 500 million against ISK or in total EUR 1.5 billion.
