The Nordic-Baltic Office IMF – The Global Economy and Recent Policy Developments in the IMF – Report 2006/1

The Nordic-Baltic Office at the International Monetary Fund has published its semi-annual report concerning key issues addressed by the Executive Board since October 2005 and the constituency’s position on them. The report covers four main issues: the Fund’s Medium-Term Strategy; Global Economy and Economic Surveillance; the Multilateral Debt Reduction Initiative (MDRI) and the Establishment of the Shocks Facility and the Policy Support Instrument; and the Fund’s Organization and Finances.
