Meet­ing between the FME and the GFSC

The Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) visited The Financial Supervisory Authority, Iceland (FME) in Reykjavík 7 and 8 January 2008.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss future cooperation in connection with cross- border activities. The FME and the GFSC also started discussion on a possible Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The purpose of a MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation, including mutual assistance and exchange of information between the two authorities.
