The Central Bank of Iceland publishes information in accordance with Article 107(i) of Act No. 161/2002 (in Icelandic) on Financial Undertakings, cf. Article 143 of Directive (EU) 2013/36/EU.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has developed templates to be used for the disclosure of information. The templates are published in Regulation (EU) No 650/2014 with amendments pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/912, cf. rules No. 1344/2024 (in Icelandic), on the Publication of Information on Prudential Requirements in accordance with the Act on Financial Undertakings.

The main objective of the publication is greater transparency in the financial market and easier comparison of the implementation of supervision between the competent authorities in the Member States of the European Economic Area. Information provided by the Member States can be found at EBA website.
